Simple Preposition 'of'

of (ऑफ्) हे एक Simple Preposition आहे.

इंग्रजी व्याकरणामध्ये of  चा उपयोग पुढीलपैकी एखादा अर्थ दर्शविण्यासाठी केला जातो.

of = ..चा, ..ची, ..चे, ..च्या (मालकीदर्शक)

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

Example 1

• The walls of his house are white.
• त्याच्या घराच्या भिंती पांढऱ्या (पांढऱ्या रंगाच्या) आहेत.

Example 2

• The collection of short stories is very nice.
• तो लघुकथांचा संग्रह खूप चांगला आहे.

of = ..चा (संबंधीचा)

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

• This novel is a story of love and romance.
• ही कादंबरी एक प्रेमासंबंधीची रम्यकथा आहे.

Example 2

• I like to watch news of war.
• मला युद्धासंबंधीच्या बातम्या बघायला आवडतात.

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

• गोवा महाराष्ट्राच्या दक्षिणेच्या बाजूला आहे.

• January comes at the beginning of year.
• जानेवारी महिना वर्षाच्या सुरूवातीला येतो.
