How to use 'with'

Simple Preposition 'with'

with (विथ) हे एक Simple Preposition आहे.

इंग्रजी व्याकरणामध्ये with  चा उपयोग पुढीलपैकी एखादा अर्थ दर्शविण्यासाठी केला जातो.

with = सह, बरोबर (सोबत)

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

Example 1

• He is with his brother.
• तो त्याच्या भावाबरोबर (भावासोबत) आहे.

Example 2

• She works with him.
• ती त्याच्यासह (त्याच्यासोबत) काम करते.

with = ..च्या जवळ, कडे, ..च्या हातात

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

Example 1

• Please leave the keys with my neighbour.
• कृपया चाव्या माझ्या शेजाऱ्याकडे (शेजाऱ्याजवळ) ठेवा.

Example 2

• The decision does not rest with me.
• तो निर्णय माझ्या हातात नाही आहे.

with = संगतीने, बरोबर, सोबत (मागे न पडता)

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

Example 1

• We should change with the times.
• आपण वेळेबरोबर (वेळेच्या मागे न पडता) बदलले पाहिजे.

Example 2

• The prices of vegetables change with the season.
• भाज्यांचे भाव हंगामासोबत बदलतात.

with = ..ने ("सहाय्या"ने या अर्थी)

For example (उदाहरणार्थ),

Example 1

• She cut all the vegetables with a knife.
• तिने सर्व भाज्या सुरीने (सुरीच्या सहाय्याने) कापल्या.

Example 2

• He was writing a letter with a pen.
• तो लेखणीने (लेखणीच्या सहाय्याने) एक पत्र लिहित होता.
